RobotMom Member Joined: Feb 2009 Posts: 604 in a happier place	DD6 asked her grandfather to teach her to play checkers 2 summers ago and after 2 games she won by a mile. I told my dad he didn't have to let her win, she'd be ok. He replied - let her - I'm teaching her chess tomorrow so I might have a better chance of winning for a bit longer She has not managed to beat him yet, but has gotten very close.
