We did Stanford's EPGY accelerated math for my daughter who was 8 and in third grade. It worked about very well. We went straight through Stanford. She was able to take the ability test online and was admitted on the spot. School finally let her go up to GT room to do math, BUT, it wasn't during math, so she had to still sit through math. It is really good for motivated students. It has a ton of reporting, how many minutes they worked, what concepts covered, etc. which is helpful to bring to the school when trying to get them to believe what your child is capable of. And they really only access to a computer with a headset to hear the instructor. You do get an advisor who is in weekly contact with you. We didn't need help, but they are there if you do. HTH
