Loved the Frost poem. A 16 hour day (and Miles to go before I sleep.) Moms everywhere can relate to this one.

Lori, It sounds like it might be hard to do, but can you take a day every so often for just you and your son? Perhaps set up a predictable weekly or monthly date where you just take a break and go do something relaxing and fun for the two of you where you can forget about all the issues for awhile.

It sounds like you have so much on your plate. It is so easy to get burnt out when it feels like every one is dependent on you. Your need to care for yourself is also very important. Do you have any one who can help out with your parents once in awhile?

I know it can seem impossible, but sometimes if I am really stressed and can rope someone into watching the kids. I just go and walk until I am too tired to care anymore. My mom had some health problems last year and it was very stressful. At one point I had to decide not to take my children with me when I went to help her anymore. At the time our kids were 1 and 3 so it was a different situation. {{Lots of hugs}}
