binip, that's not, alas, where we're going BUT I'm actually really well acquainted with that school (nice!) and program (nice curriculum) and principal (much respect for her!) and think DD would do well there. And you're right about the crazy hyper-competitive parents around here. They are nuts and I do feel like the hard line id in response to that.

But we're heading north, to the land of slightly more affordable real estate, 1 district north.
