It looks like we're going to go ahead and accelerate ds11 to 7th grade. He is interested in doing this after weighing pros and cons (one of the pros being skipping a whole year of homework! haha).

My insides, though excited for him, are churning because all I can think about is the worry: are we speeding him through his childhood. I know this perhaps is selfish and irrelevant in the scheme of things, but it's there and I don't want ds to pick up on it...
