He can read 'Arthur's Tooth', if he has not already, it is very reassuring on the subject of variation. I don't recall ds loosing any until after age 7.

My ds7 got his first baby tooth at 16.5 mo (!) and now, at 7y3m, has his first loose tooth. He's super excited!

MY youngin is early 7, going into gr 2,
    No loose teeth yet!
If you are concerned you can always go to the dentist, x-rays can show how the adult teeth are developing.

Dd#1 got her baby teeth early and lost them early. Dd#2 got them right on time and lost them at an avg time as well. With my older one, she had her bottom two teeth by 12 weeks and started losing them right by her 5th bd. She'll be 11 in a month now and has lost all of her baby molars except one. She basically has a full set of adult teeth except for the wisdom teeth.

Our younger dd got her first teeth right at around 6 months and they started falling out at around 5.5 y/o. She lost the bottom two in kindergarten and then the entire row of the front/top four all fell out a month or two prior to her 7th bd (right at the start of 2nd grade). She'll be 9 in two months and has lost the front top and bottom four and one of the bicuspids (right next to the front four teeth).

CathyA, just have your DC run into someone's head! That's how DS's top two became loose... though those haven't fallen out yet. wink wink
