Ok this is my first ever post here, but I laughed so hard at your posts and already feel at home.
My daughter turned 3 on Monday. At her party everyone sang to her, and she started to blow out the candles and then looked up and said "Thank you everyone." It was sweet.
But better yet was yetserday. We took her to the doctor because of a bad spider bite. The Dr. wanted to touch it and she said "You can't touch it or it will become infected. If you just leave it alone, it will probably get better in a couple of days."
Then the Dr. wanted to draw a circle on her to make sure if it was or wasnt getting bigger. She said, "No, you can't write on me....I'm not a piece of paper." And the WAY she said it was hysterical - as if she needed to EXPLAIN to the Dr. that she was, in fact, not a piece of paper. She said it slowly, as if to talk to the Dr. to make sure she understood it.
Finally, at her party, she said, "Mommy, we should get these for the "children", the "children" will like these." haha. She is only 3. (Just TURNED 3!!!) What am I going to do with her?
