OT, but I wouldn't rule out your dd being gifted as well. I have two gifted children who present very differently. One would have been easily overlooked as gifted. There is also a difference btwn a HG+ kid and a MG kid. Perhaps she is MG.
She could also be very high in EQ and good at hiding - and just as high in IQ as her brother. 2nd born females tend to be really good at hiding. Wish I had a dollar for every suprised family I've seen.
