re private school and HG+ IQ. Is the new school aware of her scores? I would consider doing that as soon as possible because I bet they are in the midst for planning for new year. I find that meeting with our daughter's school in the spring for the following year yields better results than waiting until fall. Also, get them to put all accommodations in writing.

After my dd was accepted into DYS, the Davidson folks sent letters of introduction to her private school. We requested this and previewed the letter. Gauging teacher's reactions to the letters really helped me figure out who was going to be receptive to dd's HG needs. DYS has been helping her school find ways to help dd with social and behavior issues - academically I think her needs were being met pretty well. Its just been a couple months, but I think it is going to be worth the effort of application for sure.
