Great article, thanks for sharing it. My son definitely prefers to socialize via games etc. although this extends into real life friends but then they play the game. This really helps him have structured positive time with his friends but many parents here are very anti-video games and feel they are really only for when you have no one else to play with. I do encourage my son and his friends to get outside etc. after they have been playing for a bit but if I took away the games entirely during a play date they would all end in disaster.
