We have always done that on our own. And we look into other subjects. We were constantly working on GS badges or learning about cats (she knows every type and what they do).
I am worried about her taking 7th grade English as a 7th grader. In elementary, there were so many extra things she could do with it.
The school guidance counselor asked me if she was worried about her not being "challenged" (which is a word I tire of and is used too much). I said that I am just worried she will get lazy. At this age, they are not that into school.
