Oh no! I am thinking that it's entirely possible that your DS could finish the elementary curriculum at that school. But couldn't they possibly (hopefully) find some alternative curriculum for him? Going deeper into some subjects?

My DS5 starts school in a few weeks, so I really don't have any advice based on experience. But I am hoping that your school's willingness to be flexible might lead to some other creative solutions for you.
