My whole point is that I liked that the speech wasn't about what *he* can or can't do. It's about what we, the American people, *MUST* do.

Big difference.

I totally agree that he is *not* all-powerful and shouldn't be treated like some savior. But I don't think he has to be based on what he's saying.

I just hope we are willing to make the sacrifices we *will* need to make. More than anything else, that's my fear: that we Americans are too selfish and set in our ways to do what is required to fix all that is broken. I think that's the real issue, far more than what Obama can or can't do.
