Thanks for your input - it does apply. Sometimes our decisions for our children are not necessarily what is best for each one, but what is best overall for all the them. I appreciate your point about providing opportunities for interactions with older kid. Fortunately, DS has always had that option due to the multi-age beforecare and aftercare.
