At 7 1/2 months visiting my next door neighbor who does daycare and has seen it all. DD standing on sofa with a floral patterned fabric and my hand on her back to keep her steady. As neighbor and I chat dd points with tiny fingers at the pattern on the back of the sofa "ed... ey-ow... een... ooo..." I notice neighbor stops talking then after watching for a moment says "Ummm... she knows her colors??!!??"
Yeah she had been doing it for a few weeks but I didn't want to be "that mom" so I never said anything to anyone. I shrugged and said "Is it really THAT unusual?" Ummm.... yeah!
