Actually, your response is helping a lot. I was trying to figure out what defines a composite score, and part of my issue with it was why someone could have, for example, 3 different verbal subtests with varying percentages (let's say 97%, 98% and 98%), but then the total percentage for verbal ends up being at 99%. I found it odd that scores could round up.
To expand my question, I know our state requires a qualifying composite score of 97%. Which does not mean the overall percentage score on the whole test - right? It just applies to one section (made up of a group of subtests), such as verbal. So if my DS tests in the 99% on vebal (which happens to be our case) he should qualify for the gitfed program. We have not completed the other sections yet. I am just trying to figure out if I can take a deep breath and relax about this whole thing yet because he should be "in"...he is young so I worry about going through this whole process and not providing us with the support we need for the school. I know he is not following a normal path...but I have to be able to prove it.

Maybe I should have put this under the testing section.
