    .... in Kindy yesterday they were sitting down as a group discussing "descriptive words for various animals"--> the teacher was trying to get the class to not just say that an alligator has sharp teeth but to try and think of words that describe not only it's appearance but also it's behaviour

    DD answered "obstreperous"

    teacher had never heard of the word

    That's awesome!! I have to ask, where did your dd learn this word?? I can see dd20 or dd18 knowing it, and *maybe* ds10, but I can't even begin to imagine them encountering this word in kindy. Holy smokes!
