OP all pink Member A Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 53	.... in Kindy yesterday they were sitting down as a group discussing "descriptive words for various animals"--> the teacher was trying to get the class to not just say that an alligator has sharp teeth but to try and think of words that describe not only it's appearance but also it's behaviour DD answered "obstreperous" teacher had never heard of the word

momtofour Member M Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 228	That's awesome!! I have to ask, where did your dd learn this word?? I can see dd20 or dd18 knowing it, and maybe ds10, but I can't even begin to imagine them encountering this word in kindy. Holy smokes!
