We have finally got somewhere with possible moving DD13 up one grade, but it would involve skipping 8th grade. She does not mind this, but my family always has parties for both 8th and 12th grade graduations. Any suggestions?

Would a family grade-skipping party be an option? I missed one of my graduations, and, other than the family not sitting through a long ceremony, the "graduation party" was like any of my siblings' or cousins' graduation parties.
