    Update....

We have 102 half grown hens. A couple of days ago we got our first egg which is the determining factor of when to sell. I listed them on Craigslist and we sold 2 on Sunday. Then today a man called interested in buying the whole lot! He is coming on Saturday to pick up 83 hens, we are keeping 20. DS6 is going to realize a profit of about $700. I'm deducting the 20 hens out of the feed bills that he owes back to me.

He was so excited when I told him about the man who called. He's done a really good job on this project and understands how a market economy works. He did tell me that we'll have to do this again because 700. won't buy the laptop he wants! I'm going to ask him to calculate his time on this project as well so that he understands how much he made an hour and how the hourly wage works.

I'm so proud of the way he stuck to this!!

Outstanding! I am proud of your DS6 as well. G-O-O-D-J-O-B! What a wonderful economic lesson and real world life lesson in profits and work ethic. Congrats Shari!
