DS8 's 5th grade math teacher is still trying to get used to having him in class. Sometimes he will forget to print the extra worksheets for him. Yesterday after class, DS8 realised that the teacher has forgotten to pass him his homework again so he asked for them. The older kids groaned and said that he should have just kept quiet! They didn't understand WHY would anyone asks for homework! LOL. grin

Too cute! (although I am sure you are not allowed to call your ds8 cute anymore - we have been banned from that word for the last year or so...)

It really is funny to see kids ask/beg for work.
Most people won't even believe us.
Last night my DS6 asked me to give him tests in Math/Language Arts/History and Science. One question I asked was "who was the last president" He wrote Barack Obama. He said "I should have been more clear and said who was president before Obama".
People may think we push our kids but you can't push them to do the stuff they are doing. I have to push my DS to get dressed etc, but work he craves.
