Back from camping and trying to do a catch-up here, it seems that far too many people are having a rotten start to the year.

I was just thinking that it would be lovely to be able to step somehow into another dimension via the submit button - possibly a shady table on a quiet beach somewhere. A nice stiff G&T (or whatever else you might fancy), plenty of cake, lots of talking and slightly hysterical giggling. And not a child anywhere (not wanting to seem unloving, but I could use a break from the worrying - am still sitting on DS6 too regularly).

Hope things are looking up for those feeling down.

Oh, I love your alternate universe. What a nice idea!

Could I perhaps be able to chew in this dream world? Drinks I can have here, but I'd probably trade a slightly-used child for some real food! wink

Unfortunately it's quite hard to trade and sell children, even only slightly used ones. I've tried it, but no takers so far.

I'm sorry about your cat - we suffer hugely from animal deaths at our place too. One gets over sore teeth more quickly, but yes, I remember getting sick of custard and tinned fruit pretty quickly.

LOL! I made lovely steaks for my family tonight. I had potato and broccoli soup. Just not the same... frown
