DS6 was so funny today ...

He plays a video game designed for older teens/adults; there are 80 levels total, and he got to level 20 today. Very pleased with himself, he said, "Whew! I'm a quarter of the way done!"

Since he started it grin I said, "Congratulations! What's another way to say that?"

"Umm ... I'm 2/8ths of the way there!"

    I said, "That's right! Or ...?"

"Or 3/12ths! Or 100/400ths! Or 400/1600ths! Or ..." here he got a naughty little grin, "or 16/64ths!"

    Cracked us up!

He likes to do stuff like that ... a couple months ago, he was talking about how much fun it would be to drive a car, and how he wished he could do it now. Dh said, "Well, you'll be old enough soon ..."

"Ugh, no," DS said. "I'm only, like, a third of the way there. mad "

yesterday my DD4 and I were watching the DVD "The adventures of Milo and Otis" If you haven't seen it before it's about a cat and dog that live on a farm , they get lost and have adventures, well the cat was on his own and joined a pig family. All the little pigs were nursing on the mama pig, then the cat was nursing on the mama pig too. My daughter laughed and said "look at that cat, he sure likes that ham"

so many to share, and not enough time...LOL. My DS4 says the funniest things. I have started writing them down thankfully. Around Halloween he told me "we better find that corner" I said "what corner?" He said "the corner that halloween is around" I was quite perplexed and asked him what on earth he was talking about. He said "I got an email from my Wiggles fan club and it said that halloween is just around the corner." Also last week before bed he was asking me about what contract means. I was telling him about what it means, and then explained how my tummy contracted when he was inside of me. he replied "well I don't want to ever have a baby since you told me that." He keeps us laughing. Great thread, these are fun to read.

    These stories are great!

We've been talking about school lately with DS5, since we're planning for when he goes next fall. He said, "I finally figured out how I can get out of going to school all day. I will go to school just until I figure out how to build a robot that looks just like me. Then I'll send the robot instead of me, and I'll stay home." I said, "OK, you've got a deal. As soon as you learn how to build that, you won't have to go to school anymore."
