Hey. I realise this isn't exactly a discussion topic but maybe it'll turn into one. I don't care either way I was just hoping you'd all humor me.

I really like to research stuff that I'm interested in.
Some time ago I read that research was being done on a link between breastfeeding and higher IQ's.... They dertimined there was indeed a link! I found that really interesting!

So, I was hoping you'd all allow me to take sort of an informal poll. I'm curious and I like to hear about others experience in things that I research.

    SO...

    If you would:

Post just a short synopsis of your childs giftedness and whether they were breastfed, formula fed, or something else and for how long.

obviously I'm not trying to prove anything because there are so many variables out there. Like I said.... just curious!

    Thanks!

Also, the research has shown that breastfeeding over nine months doesn't make any further increase in IQ. So if you breastfeed nine months or 2 years, the increase in IQ is about the same.

Actually I've read information that says it continues to increase the benefits after the first year. That's part of some peoples reasons for extended nursing through toddlerhood.

    interesting.
