Not that this is necessarily true in your case but our daughter was going spare at distressingly frequent intervals. A combination of poor social fit and academic fit appeared to be exacerbating her OEs. A grade skip and AoPS helped it at that time. I would consider meeting with her team at school were I you. YMMV
