Some areas of suspected learning difference do show up on the standard cognitive instruments given for GT testing (e.g., the WISC), but others do not. No one instrument should be used as the sole source of diagnostic information. I would not invest too much energy into looking for possible learning difficulties, unless there are IRL reasons for those concerns, in which case a more comprehensive evaluation (including, perhaps, academic achievement, attention/executive function, emotional, etc.) would be a better context in which to obtain cognitive assessment.
