We went to parent orientation this week and got some good news. DS7 will be working on reading comprehension/writing one on one with an upper elementary teacher.
He's otherwise returning to the same mixed age class as last year.
His math will continue to be differentiated in the classroom by removing timed math fact quizzes and supplementing challenging word and logic problems.
This year he'll get more computer time including instruction on using PowerPoint and MovieMaker.
Off to a good year so far! School starts on Tuesday
