I was speaking with dd10 last night about the expectations at her school that change between 4th and 5th grades. She will be expected to manage her own time in assignments, to be more organized without so much support from her teacher, and will have more homework.
She is really very concerned and feels like she is going to fail before she even starts!
I took a look around for study skill classes that she could take over the summer, just to prepare and found one at Sylvan. Does anyone have experience with this course? Any recommendations for other study skill courses?
