Reading everyone's posts here has been very enlightening! It has helped us tremendously in understanding our kids ... This is as close to the missing manuals as we could get
A little background... our DS10 has taken WISC-IV when he was 9. He also took SCAT last November and did really well. Now we're thinking about achievement test.
As we don't have access to EXPLORE in Bay Area (the closest one is in Sacramento), we contacted our principal to ask if the school can administer it. He said that he was not familiar with EXPLORE, but they do have WIAT-III that can be administered at no cost.
The psychologist that tested our DS suggested WIAT-II. It will cost $500 to have this done, though...
Does anyone mind sharing what they know about the differences / similarities between the two WIAT tests?
