Good morning! Chris1234, I have a DD5 who is also an abstract artist. She draws morning, noon, and night. She is extremely passionate about her art, and I have to say that her drawings are very unusual for a child her age. She seems to use a lot of Surrealist technique and to me, the way she uses shape and line is amazing. I would have to describe it as very Picasso like. She never draws the usual house, flower, etc...the typical way and they are never just called a "house" or "flower"...More like an "abandoned lonely castle with only one shriveled peony as its friend" Haha You get the idea

They are always drawn unusually abstract while connecting unexpected combinations. Many times you will see a picture within another picture and so on. When she was about six months old or so, I began taking her to art museums. Funny, I still remember her eyes brightening while looking in awe at all of those huge canvases. I have gigantic stacks of all of her drawings that I just can't throw away. Kerry, I love the photo album idea! Now if I can just get organized enough to do it!
