Hi there Mama22Gs,

I was the poster on the older link you suggested, and I still love that telescope I linked to! My son just asked this am for me to bring it out tonight (now that daylight savings time is off).

I would buy something from a place like Orion Telescopes, most will be great purchases, just don't buy a department store or toy store one.
