Hi, Cat. It is an open family program. Other siblings are welcome with a PG sibling. The community is embracing and the focus is on establishing/maintaining relationships and providing social/emotional connections/opportunities for our PG kids and for ourselves. It was the best, most comfortable, informative, and supportive group dynamic I have ever experienced (and I am 50). You can read that you are not alone; that your PG DS or DD shares OEs, sensitivies, concerns, and challenges similar to many other PG children; that similar educational institution "negotiations" are being played out from coast to coast; and that other PG families are finding the resources to thrive in the face of broad educational/cultural neglect. But knowing it - while comforting - is NOT at all the same as having had 4 days to experience it! What a blessing. Just to be part of a community that knows you and welcomes you! Hurrah! PG Retreat has a website page and a Facebook Page, and applications are I think available on either. If you have any other questions, please feel free to pm me. I'd be happy to talk more specifically about our camp experience with DS & DD age 7.5.
