My son was given the RIAS as well and had a high score and we are going through the same thought process in applying for DYS...we decided to take our DS7 to the same psych who did the RIAS and she is going to administer the SBV verbal section of the test because she felt that it fit him very well since he is extremely verbal....so we are hoping to submit that score with the RIAS along with a portfolio and see how it goes :-) We also can't really afford any more assessments!
