Uni = University. He has just completed his first year of university (part time)

The question was a bit rhetorical. In other words deep down you know you are doing the right the thing because he is happy and thats what counts, but then you worry that its not too much pressure (school, acceleration + university). They are his course results - Bachelor of Science majoring in Mathematics and Applied Physics.
