LOL. It was the first book that I read that included the word "gifted" and it really opened up my eyes. I read it when DS was not quite 2. It was frightening to see that DS was probably a level 5 kid...but I still was in denial. I read little parts of it every year and was more and more shocked. Now 3 years later he has been tested and his results were consistent with what I had thought with reading the book. So while people say you can't really tell with a child that young, sometimes you can. He was a clear cut case. He did all those things early just like they did in the book. It is all quite interesting. And another interesting thing was when DS was 2 I would read about what these 4 year olds were doing and thought to myself "that is crazy...DS would never be able to do that stuff" and then DS started doing them even earlier. Anyhow, I am thankful for the book because it really opened my eyes and gave me more ideas, even if it did give me a little more to worry about as well. : )
