Hi! I'm new here but have been lurking for a while now. I've also been trying to search all the archived messages, but haven't yet been able to find any information about the Kaufman Assessment Battery.

My kids' school administered the Kaufman (KABC) to two of my children when we were considering grade skips. They did well enough to both be skipped a grade, but I'm wondering how the KABC scores relate to the levels of giftedness.

I keep finding charts that list levels of giftedness for the more popular tests such as WISC, WPPSI, SB5, and SBL-M, but nothing for the less-often given KABC.

Does anyone know how the scores compare? I read on Hoagies that the KABC is not the best test to look for giftedness, but it's the one my school district uses.

Thanks for any information you can give me.

She thought she could, so she did.
