SPG- I might forego getting my eyes rechecked then. If you can now see the leaves on the trees, what would that do to all the dust bunnies in my house???? ROFL

GS10's eyes changed rapidly for the worse between 9y2m and 9y5m. I felt like a really bad grandma when the eye dr said he'd never seen a kid with such poor vision on the first vist. eek But after talking to him(dr) a few minutes I learned that GS10's growth spurt during that time was most likely the culprit, and then I didn't feel too bad. But this summer, after an impromptu game of catch with some boys he just met, he came to me just glowing with how his glasses helped him catch the ball every time! eek gee..make me feel bad again, kid..! His glasses are the last thing off at night, first thing on in the morning; he doesn't need reminded at all. And after he broke the first pair, he's very careful with this pair.
