How many years was she skipped?
I ask because I always puzzle a bit at the idea that a single year grade skip makes a huge difference by the end middle or high school that being a year younger even matters.

I certainly don't want to be one to step on anyone's dreams, but I haven't met many people in life who wish they'd spent more time in middle school. It tends to be a dreary godawful part of life and if there is ever a time to skip that'd be it in my book. To be more encouraging though... There is always the possibility of doing a gap year between high school and college.
