I obviously have too much time on my hands as I'm mulling this over.

For children who have grade-skipped and are in a gifted program at school - ie. a fast-paced, high output, highly enriched learning environment - what happens next?

Would you try to find a high-school that has a specific 'gifted' program so they can continue to learn in a similar way and be exposed to this enriched environment?

Or is the grade-skip enough and should they be able to just slip into a general learning environment covering regular curriculum?
