I'm confused here - I think that you are wishing for a whole classroom full of kids just like your child that he could fit right in with and learn with at his own readiness level? If so, I sure agree with you and want in on your wish...

OTOH - Remember that you are taking this one step at a time, so you can start with the parts that seem appealing, and add the less appealing parts as needed. My son hates the disruption of subject acceleration, and is pretty happy with a summer birthday + single grade skip + summer enrichment. Other kids so subject accelerations without any full grade skip. You can't know in advance what your needs will be down the line. There isn't any one 'right answer.'
