What prompted you to have dd tested?
Quite a few things, but mostly from the school not responding to my requests. And now I have "concrete" evidence that I'm not just a crazy mom who "thinks their kid is so wonderful."
Also, now as school has progressed, my DD is starting to show some defiance to her school work - not wanting to go to school, thinking certain activities are "dumb," etc.
Finally, my DD is the youngest in her class already, and while we knew she was bright, I wanted a true measurement to see where she is at.
