Well, whether you follow up with the school depends on your dd's current situation. Do you feel she's well-placed? Is she happy at school? Is she getting the right social interaction? If so, then you may not need to do anything at all right now. Some schools are great at differentiating and keeping all kids learning at their challenge level. Many other schools, though ... not so much.
