Kriston - yes I read a bit about that, but sort of doubted the small movements would work for ds! Of course I'm sure I've probably only read the tip of the iceburg on what is available on kinesthetic learning. Might have to start a separate thread...
I just posted elsewhere about my own brand of kinesthetic learning: knitting while I read. Sometimes something repetitive like that works pretty well, even though it's a pretty small motion.
Not that he should learn knitting and do it during school...but just another take on the concept for you.
