I think the idea behind the remedial 5th graders is, he has a slow processing speed- honestly it's not that slow for a 7 year old, but for a 5th grader it would be. So I think it was to give him a chance to do the work at a slower speed. This wasn't discussed with us, so I'm guessing.

But instead, they are doing work for 3rd graders..... so, yeah, not sure what is up with that?
