Ours is 5y 7m, so I just usually round to 5 1/2. Always gives me a pause when I think about that, and how we're always struggling with keeping him engaged in first grade.
Edwin, yeah, we're really hoping that we can at least get subject acceleration of some sort. The process just takes time unfortunately. I wished they'd hurry up!
So we also are doing things like taking a long weekend this weekend to go to Baltimore Inner Harbor and visiting the aquarium, science center, etc. It's actually rather fun re-learning all of these things.
