Thank you so much for your kind response. It is 30 days until the next school year starts, and I dread it down to my core. We are still trying to figure out what is going on. The other day a psychiatrist gave the adhd diagnosis. The other psychiatrist specifically ruled it out. He’s been working on his handwriting, I see mild improvement, but I am sure the school won’t deem it as enough of an improvement.
The only good news is that we finally got refferal to neuro-optamologist (please ignore my spelling), as I am 100% sure that his vision is the cause of the problems. However, everyone so far seems to ignore the fact that all the testing is done in his “native” language, that is so much weaker than his English. So I am sure he appears quite dumber than he actually is, and I seem like a crazy mom or something.
