Until last year they posted the results by state in each category, now its by country.
When I am looking for something in the list I upload a pdf and open it in acrobat and you can use the search function from there.
DS school is exactly like ruazkas explained. Everyone from 6th up take the AMC 8 in Math Class and top 20 scores get to take the AMC 10B in math class. They also give the AMC 10A after school on an invite bases or if you attend all the mathcounts practices to that point.
DS in 8th grade has taken both AMC 10s since 6th.
Local public schools here except for a handful with a high Asian population do not take any AMC tests.
