You know, acs, I did contemplate posting on that original thread. It would be a coda, right? I don't remember much from Music 15 in college, but that sounds about right. I did ask originally about DYS, but I learned so much more in the process in the last six months, and am so grateful to all of you .
Thanks to you my son started really reading this year (Geronimo Stilton did the trick, along with little EPGY blips on the computer), thanks to you I afterschooled so that he didn't just sit there all year without learning anything new (and I think that EPGY helped him demonstrate his abilities), thanks to you , I learned that if the educational environment is damaging and a poor fit, it's possible to just take him out (aaaaahhhhhhhhhh), thanks to you I learned about all the books I should read and read them, and thanks to you , I'm sure I've found some fun ways to restore my DS's enjoyment of math. So thank all of you ! I don't have the answers, but I sure got a lot of answers from you !
