eema, I read about that debate where the inmates of a maximum security prison took on Harvard (world champions of 2014!) and beat them in a debate about undocumented migrants. I thought that it was very relevant to that vanished thread too.
(thinking of other people as having a lower IQ because they appear to be so or because they don't understand the debater or because they avoid conflict and refuse to debate is guaranteed to raise hackles and shut down threads)
