Congrats Ktpie! I hope DYS will prove to be beneficial for you if DS gets in. I believe we are in the same boat. I just got DD's achievement tests back and we are so excited that she qualifies in total achievement. I am in the midst of filling out the application now. I am hoping to find some peers for my extroverted but without close friends DD.
We are battling our insurance to deal with her sensory issues so we are busy at the moment dealing with that and the fact that her behavior has been so over the top the last few months.
Have you looked over at the well trained forum on the accelerated learner board? Do you have any local homeschool supports near you? We have a charter school for homeschoolers in my town so I may do a visit soon.
