@Chris - Dr notes that the test requiring processing speed ds was more interested in the paint marker and doing cause and effect with it. I guess it interested him.
Has your ds improved his processing speed with age? Is he 2e?
I have contacted a developmental optometrist for a screening. As a mom I do see some frustration sometimes with handwriting and really challenging taks at home. However, when he knows he can master something he is all in.
I believe MANY of the issues at the school are from sensory overload - if they would implement the OT strategies his behavior would improve. But they assume its all immaturity when it's not.
